THE Internationals made the most of a fine day from two-time world champion John Part to score a 10-5 win over the Australian side in Saturday's darts Test match at Dapto Leagues Club.
The Canadian was beaten by Australian team member Russell Stewart in arguably the match of the day, but didn't drop any of his other contests to guide the visitors to victory in a match watched by a good crowd.Richie Burnett, Andy Jenkins and James Wade joined Part to hold off the host nation.Dart Players Australia chief executive Rob Denny said the Test match proved very popular.Points were secured by players who won a best of three games from 501.The international match was staged as part of the William Cross Pro-Am, a $44,000 tournament that concluded late last night.The event is the biggest darts tournament to have taken place in the Illawarra.
